Community Led Housing Consultation
In early 2020 we will be organising a community consultation to ensure that the housing scheme is putting residents at the heart of the process, allowing us to help decide the style and shape of housing we are planning to build. With Hillfields Family & Community Trust leading the housing project, local people will get a say in how the development will be managed and maintained, ensuring the homes remain affordable and are an asset for the whole community.
We are currently seeking funding to cover the costs of getting the project to the point of laying the first brick. The housing should be ready to move into by the summer of 2021.

Hillfields Housing Project
Hillfields Family & Community Trust is currently is set to develop a piece of former waste land to the side of the Hub.
HF&CT will build around 10 new homes to benefit local people and those wanting to put down roots in the area.
The housing will consist of a combination of flats and houses with parking and gardens. It is important that the new housing fits with the existing houses in Hillfields.
The project at is one of many community-led schemes being proposed in Bristol and the Hillfields project is being supported by Bristol and Bath Regional Capital who have previously worked with projects in Southmead and Lawrence Weston.
The Hillfields estate is currently made up of mostly 3 and 4 bedroom houses so this scheme will provide smaller homes with gardens as well as flats with an outside communal space.
