Hillfields Family and Community Trust believe that working together to organise local activities and empower local people, will strengthen Hillfields so it's a great place to live, visit and work.
In response to a community consultation the old youth centre building is now open as a much needed Community Hub, providing activities and meeting space for local people.

There will be a live exhibition showcasing four architects that have been shortlisted to design the first homes to be built by the community, for the community in Hillfields. The archtects are Barefoot Archtects Crier & Coe Askew Cavanna and White Design
We are all keen to ensure that whatever houses are designed and built, will be meet the wishes and needs of the future residents and fit with the neighbourhood long into the future. Everyone will have the opportunity to speak to each of the architect teams and then invited to vote on which architect they would like appointed to design the new housing. There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and give further feedback.
